America 250: Chicago's Letters to America

On Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Chicagoans gather in Chinatown for America 250: Chicago's Letters to America, a citywide letter-writing project marking the U.S. semiquincentennial. Participants reflect on their lives and communities, with letters archived at the Chicago Public Library. Materials are provided; registration is encouraged but not required. For adults 18 and up.
