Amateurs at River

On Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, River Park hosts *Amateurs*, an experimental theater performance exploring adult recreational ballet classes through the Chicago Park District. Inspired by four queer women with minimal ballet experience, the piece blends dance, storytelling, and connection. This free event invites attendees to join at the barre and celebrate creativity and vulnerability.
