Amateurs at Chicago Women's

Amateurs is an experimental theater piece that turns adult recreational ballet class into performance material, drawing from the experiences of four queer women who came to ballet with minimal training. The show blends dance, storytelling, and audience connection, and invites viewers to gather at the barre for an evening about creativity and vulnerability rather than technical polish. It runs Thursday, August 13, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at Chicago Women's Park and Gardens on the near south side.
