Adulting 101
Adulting 101 is a practical three-part workshop series for teens and young adults 16 to 24, covering the kind of real-world skills that rarely come with a manual. The Wednesday, October 21 session, running from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at the Richard M. Daley–W Humboldt branch, focuses on managing money: learning to balance a checkbook and taking home some money-managing tools. Earlier and later sessions cover college prep (with a felt-pennant craft) and basic food prep for work or school. Free and open to the intended age group.
