Adult One Book, One Chicago Discussion: The Orbital

The Chicago Public Library’s One Book, One Chicago program returns this fall with *Orbital* by Samantha Harvey, and the McKinley Park branch hosts an adult discussion of the 2026 selection. The novel follows six astronauts and cosmonauts from America, Russia, Italy, Britain, and Japan as they witness sixteen sunrises and sunsets aboard one of the last missions before the space station program is dismantled—a quiet, meditative snapshot of life in orbit. The group meets on Wednesday, October 14, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at McKinley Park. Copies are available at the McKinley Park Branch circulation desk for checkout ahead of the talk.
