Adult Book Discussion: Lesser Ruins

The Uptown Branch Adult Book Club discusses *Lesser Ruins* by Mark Haber, a novel about a retired professor trying to write a book about Michel de Montaigne while fending off distractions from his past, his smartphone, and his son's ambitions to make an electronic dance album. The group meets in person at the Uptown branch and online via Zoom on Saturday, December 19, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A limited number of copies are available at the circulation desk after the November meeting. Registration is required for the Zoom link, and the event is free.
