90-Second Newbery Film Workshop

A free workshop at Budlong Woods where you can help make a short film for the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival. Festival creator James Kennedy will lead participants through a mini movie script based on the Newbery Honor book *Scary Stories for Young Foxes*. The finished film screens at Harold Washington Library in spring 2026. For ages 10 and up; the workshop runs Wednesday, August 5, from 3 to 6 PM.
