Tinkering Time: Chess Club

At the West Loop branch, Mr. Lee from the Chicago Chess Foundation leads a weekly chess club for kids 6 to 13, welcoming everyone from complete beginners to experienced players. The club meets Thursday afternoons from 4:15 to 5:15 PM (skipping September 3 and November 26). Registration is required by the start of the event; a parent or guardian’s email must be used to sign up.
