The Silent Scribe Society: Writing Program

The Silent Scribe Society is a weekly co-working session for writers of all stripes at the Harold Washington Library Center, offering a quiet room where you can work on a journal, a screenplay, a work article, or a novel alongside other people doing the same thing. The appeal is less about instruction and more about the shared atmosphere of mutual encouragement — a low-pressure way to get back into a creative rhythm or find a writing community. It meets Monday, November 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Free and open to all.
