Open Shop

Open Shop at Harold Washington Library Center is a drop-in session where you can explore the library’s maker tools—laser cutter, 3D printer, sewing machine, electronic cutter, and hot glue guns—while getting brief software guidance and project advice from staff. It’s a low-key way to see what’s possible with the equipment before committing to a class, and you’re welcome to bring questions or just browse what others are making. The open format runs Tuesday, December 1, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM in the Loop. No registration or fee mentioned; just show up.
