Open Shop

Open Shop at Gage Park turns a Saturday afternoon into a low-key chance to explore the creative tools hiding in the library. From 2:00 to 4:00 PM on October 17, you can get a software overview, check out what other people are building, or use an electronic cutter, 3D printer, sewing machine, and hot glue guns on your own projects. No formal instruction, but staff are on hand to help. Registration is required, and the library asks for accessibility requests at least 14 business days in advance.
