English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) Course / Curso de Inglés

A free English language course for adults that meets twice a week at Humboldt Park, building fluency through small, supportive classes. The program, run in partnership with Literacy Chicago, focuses on speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding — practical skills for communicating with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. It runs every Monday and Wednesday from September 9 through December 16; the specific session on Monday, December 14, runs from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Speakers of all languages are welcome, and participants must register and are encouraged to attend every session.
