English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) Course / Curso de Inglés

A free English-language course for adults, held at Humboldt Park in partnership with Literacy Chicago. The class meets every Monday and Wednesday from September 9 through December 16, 5:30 to 7:30 PM, and participants are encouraged to attend every session. Small, supportive groups work on speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding — practical skills for communicating with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. Registration is required; email humboldtpark@chipublib.org to sign up. The course is presented in English and Spanish, and all languages are welcome.
