English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) Course / Curso de Inglés

An English as a Second Language course meeting at Humboldt Park on Monday and Wednesday evenings from September 9 through December 16. Participants build fluency in small, supportive classes covering speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding — skills for communicating with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. All languages are welcome, and the course runs in partnership with Literacy Chicago. Registration is ongoing; attendees are encouraged to commit to all sessions. Wednesday, November 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM is one session date within the longer term.
