English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) Course / Curso de Inglés

A free English language course at Humboldt Park, meeting every Monday and Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM through December 16. Open to speakers of any language, the small classes focus on building fluency in speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding — practical skills for communicating with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. Participants must register, ideally in advance, and are encouraged to attend all sessions. The program is run in partnership with Literacy Chicago, and registration is available online or by email.
