English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) Course / Curso de Inglés

An English fluency course offered in partnership with Literacy Chicago, meeting at Humboldt Park on Monday and Wednesday evenings from September 9 through December 16. The small classes focus on speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding — designed for communicating with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. All languages are welcome, and participants are asked to commit to attending every session. Registration is required before the first class; the course meets on Wednesday, October 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM and follows the same pattern on other dates. Classes are free, with registration available online or by emailing humboldtpark@chipublib.org. The Chicago Public Library site lists a registration link through ACTIVE.
