English Language Learning (ESL/ELL) Course / Curso de Inglés

An English fluency course for adult learners meets at Humboldt Park on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, running September 9 through December 16. The small-group classes, offered in partnership with Literacy Chicago, focus on speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural context — aiming to build skills for communicating with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. Speakers of any language are welcome. Registration is required, and participants are encouraged to attend every session. Sign language interpretation and other accessibility accommodations are available with at least 14 business days notice.
