English Language Learning (ELL/ESL) Course/Curso de Inglés

A twice-weekly English course for adults meets Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Portage-Cragin branch, starting Monday, November 23. Taught in small groups, the class covers speaking, writing, listening, conversation, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding — with the practical aim of helping participants communicate with supervisors, teachers, neighbors, and doctors. Space is limited; registration is required online. The library also offers sign language interpretation and other accessibility accommodations with at least 14 business days' notice.
