Edgewater Community Music Jam

The Edgewater Community Music Jam is an inclusive, hour-long session for acoustic musicians, singers, and listeners of all ages and skill levels. On Thursday, October 29, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, participants can join in group and small-group playing, as well as social time, with printed and projected music provided in styles from folk and pop to classical and Broadway. Instruments like acoustic guitars, ukuleles, violins, cellos, and portable keyboards are welcome, along with brass and woodwinds; percussion instruments are supplied on site. Electric guitars, electric basses, and drum kits are not permitted. Led by Edgewater resident Mike Kennedy, the event requires registration (recommended but not required) and is presented in partnership with Edgewater Village Chicago.
