Community Repair with Bevel & Kerf Woodworking

On Sunday, November 15, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, the Portage-Cragin library hosts a free community repair event staffed by handy volunteers with backgrounds in woodworking, carpentry, electronics, appliance repair, and clothing mending. Bring up to two items that can be moved by hand (no pianos or washing machines), drop them off by 2:00 PM, or sit with a volunteer to learn how the repair works. If they can't fix it, they'll point you in a helpful direction. The event is also a chance for skilled neighbors to volunteer; sponsored by Bevel & Kerf Woodworking.
