Come Play Chess with Us

Chess players of all skill levels meet at the Chicago Bee Library on Tuesdays from 2 to 3 PM for an hour of relaxed, guided play. Facilitator Madeline Morgan leads the session, which covers basics for newcomers, strategy puzzles, and open practice time for anyone who wants to play a few games. The atmosphere is deliberately low-pressure — a place to learn at your own pace and meet other players rather than a competitive club. Free and open to all ages.
